Mansionz is a two person duo consisting of Blackbear and Mike Posner who are also solo artists. They have worked together since 2012 when they both helped write “Boyfriend” for Justin Bieber. They formed the group Mansionz in 2016 and came out with this amazing album in the beginning of 2017. The music off this album is a mix of hip-hop, R&B and electronica. It’s truly a masterpiece.

Singles like “Rich White Girls” and “STFU” have funny relateable lyrics that you can’t help but belt out. Most of the the other songs have deep meaning like “A Million Miles” which is a song about a unhealthy relationship ending. Love is a theme throughout the album with songs like “Gorgeous,” “My Beloved,” and “Nobody Knows.”

One of the deepest meaning tracks off the album is “I’m Thinking About Horses.” It’s a weird title but trust me, when you listen to it you’ll be love it. It’s all about the what you think about but don’t actually say out loud. It questions the new ways of relationships, and questions god, horses, and death. It’s honestly something you need to listen to multiple times, but one of the greatest things I’ve ever listened to.
