Chiefs Shine on Senior Night

On Wednesday night, the Chiefs soccer team was at it again on senior night, against Olympic Heights.

The boys were out on the pitch, seeking their 11th straight win and were looking to cap the final game before the playoffs under their belts with a win.

In the first half, it was a defensive showcase, until the Chief’s defense blinked first and conceded a goal.

During halftime, the departing seniors walked out to midfield to be honored. The varsity soccer team had 11 seniors being honored: Rich Zephirin, Joshua Tiller, Harold Alfaro, M.J. Mersier, Jameson Lumas, Michael Goldman, Tyler Davis, Ezequiel Villa, Michael Vazquez, and Miguel Ebersold.

In the second half, the Chiefs came back and netted four goals scored by: Carlot Senat, Renzo Villalobos, Andy Davens and Jameson Lumas.

The Chiefs finished the regular season with 12 wins 4 losses and 2 ties, earning them the 4th seed in the district.

The Chief’s next game is an away game at Royal Palm Beach on Monday night at 8 PM.
