“My favorite memory was when our volleyball team got our first win. As captain of the team, I tried getting everyone on the team pumped up and excited when the match was about to begin. We got up by 10 points in the first set, but then the opposing team started to catch up to our early 10 point lead. They ended up taking the lead, but we were determined and eventually fought are way to a comeback victory in the first set. We only needed to win one more set to win the match, which gave us loads of confidence and energized us for the upcoming set. We were so poised and geared that we easily won the second set, winning the first game of the season. The team was really excited and enjoyed cookies the next day after our first victory of the season, this is by far my favorite memory.”
