“During spring break in 2015, my family and I went to Costa Rica and for part of the trip we stayed in a little house near the beach. The caretakers of the house owned a few dogs and cats. One of the dogs always brought a coconut to the backdoor of our house. My sister and I would play fetch with her and started to create a bond with her. We soon started calling her ‘Coconut’. She seemed like she had an endless supply of energy, as she he would bound up and down the hills, and run through bushes, never once getting tired. When it was time to leave, saying goodbye to Coconut was definitely the worst part and I’ve been itching to go back since.”
