“When I was young, my parents would let their friends visiting from other countries spend a few days at our house. Out of the numerous people who’ve stayed over, one lady stood out in particular. Her name was Jacette, and she was visiting from Boston. She had the biggest heart for kids and she was very kind and really nice. She was staying over a week, which went by really fast, but we made the most out of it. We played games, watched movies, and went out. I liked when we’d play with her makeup. She even put some on my little brother and it was so funny. Before we knew it, it was her last day and we were all really sad. That morning we said our goodbyes to her before she left. As I hugged her, she emptied out her makeup pouch and gave it to me. I still have it to this day. She never came back to visit… but I still miss her.”
