Meet Brenda, a proud Junior here at Santaluces Community High School. Brenda is a very hardworking and humble daughter, sister, and friend. This week I got to interview her, learning more about her academic life and her plans for after high school.
When I asked her if there was anything she would change if she could go back to her freshman year, she replied with a yes. She stated that, “I would definitely join more clubs and be more active in school. Also, I would focus more on improving and maintaining my GPA.”
I also asked her what inspires her in life, she replied with, “ What inspires me is thinking about my future and how I want it to play out. I want my future kids to have a comfortable life. I would also like to be able to provide for those I love.”
Lastly, I asked her if she had any advise for incoming freshmen as an upcoming senior. She replied, “ I would advise incoming freshmen to join clubs and focus on their grades. Maintaining a good GPA is very crucial. Become friends with the right people and cherish them. Also, SAY NO TO DRUGS!”
Brenda has aspirations to attend Florida State University, and wants to major in interior design.
