This painting, created by Noelle-Grace, depicts a swamp at dusk. There’s long swampgrass in the foreground, a tall looming tree, and an overgrown hill. The background is shaped with a murky lake, silhouettes of a swamp forest, and tall mountains. It was made with acrylic paint, and it took her roughly three hours to perfect the layers, perspective, and coloring.

Heyyy! I’m Noelle-Grace, and I’m in my third year here at Santa. I am so proud to finally be part of The Tribe! Ever since my freshman year, I’ve wanted to join a community like this, and I’m so glad I can say I’ve found my place. I love making new friends, exploring art in all its forms, and (most of all) writing. I’ve been absolutely in love with storytelling and poetry since I was in elementary school. Back then, I was always scribbling down story ideas and sonnets. I can only hope my writing has improved since then… but I make no promises!
