The Mountain Between Us is a thrilling, romance, and drama filled movie. It’s rated PG-13 and is one hour and 52 minutes long. The director of this movie is Hany Abu-Assad, the director of Omar,Paradise Now, Ford Transit, The Idol, The Courier, and Stories on Human Rights. The starring actors are Kate Winslet who also starred The Titanic, The Reader, Revolutionary Road, The Holiday, Sense and Sensibility, and many other movies. The other star Idris Elba, who is most known for staring in Prometheus, Zootopia, Pacific Rim, and Thor.

The two actors play Alex Martin and Dr. Ben.  Alex Martin and Dr. Ben Bass are stranded together on a mountain after a terrible plan crash. They are total strangers to each other. The two have to work together to get through the extreme elements of the remote snowy terrain. They finally come to realize that there is no help near by, so they go on a journey through the wilderness fighting to keep each other going.

Its an action filled movie. I really enjoyed the film, but it did tend to be a little predictable. It was very interesting even though it is predictable. I was able to predict a lot of the plot twist and a lot of what happened. I would recommend this if you like action and romance. It was overall a good movie to go watch with friends.
