From the title alone, I know that many will get mad, but lets look at the factors behind my reasoning.

Cats are better because…

• They are MUCH easier to maintain.
• They don’t require walks at the crack of dawn, or late at night like dogs do. 
• They have their own litter box to do their business which you only need to empty out once a day.
•  They groom themselves and only require baths once a month.
• They are independent and nonchalant (unless you have a wild orange cat).
• They catch rodents! Have rats? Snakes? A lot of lizards? Don’t worry, cats will keep them away! Just make sure you’re ready to see these dead rodents on your doorstep…

 Dogs on the other hand…

•  Have to use the bathroom outside ( which requires someone to take them out).
•  Have to get bathed at least once a week if not they reek.
• Very clingy, energetic, and attention seeking.
• They tend to be very noisy. Those barks at 3AM are not for the weak. 

All of these are valid reasons right? Well, at the end of the day, both animals are good pets. It all comes down to if you, and if you have enough time and money for either one!
