“FAU, FAU, FAU,” was the chant that roared through the stadium like a thunderstorm after the 4th quarter. The Owls crushed Western Kentucky with the final touchdown ending the clock winning 45 – 38.
The day began at 7:30 a.m. in the student parking lot here at Santaluces with Ms. Tanguay, Ms. Monahan and many other faculty members verifying which students were eligible to get on a bus. Each student needed to have an ID and registration voucher, which was provided by the school. If not, they were immediately sent home.
Once everything was all sorted out, the seven school buses set out for the expo. Other schools from all around the Palm Beach School District also came to the event, including John I Leonard, Village Academy, Suncoast and Royal Palm.
