“When I have free time at my house, I like to play the violin. I have played the violin for five years now. I started in middle school and I was part of the Santaluces orchestra program during my freshman year. The program ended at the end of freshman year. It was pretty sad because I was always part of an activity that had to do with instruments. It was weird not being able to play at school. Whenever I have time, I like to take out my violin and just play for my family during reunions or special occasions.”

My name is Karen Garcia and I am a senior. I enjoy writing short stories and crying over amazing movies, especially A Walk to Remember.
