Meet The Teacher: Mr. Jayne

There are many influential and inspiring teachers at Santaluces High School. With the help of these teachers, students are able to prosper and excel. One of these teachers is Mr. Jayne: a die hard Nightmare Before Christmas fan and a Disney World fanatic.

What made you want to become a teacher? 

“As an interrogator, my previous career, I was teaching classes on how to conduct investigations and how to interrogate people and I enjoyed what I was doing so I decided to teach high school as well.”

How many years have you been teaching?

“I have been teaching for fifteen years at Santaluces.”

What classes do you teach?

“AICE International History and AICE Global Perspectives.”

What are your hobbies outside of school?

“Watching football, playing video games and spending time with the family.”

If you won the lottery and decided to give up teaching, what would you do instead?

“Nothing.”
