Happy April Fools’ Day! A playful holiday that has become a staple of modern culture, April Fool’s encourages us to laugh, joke, and maybe even play a harmless trick or two on our friends and family. If you’re interested in celebrating this year or in the future with a silly prank, here are some classic ones.
Oreo Cookie Prank
This is a classic joke that involves twisting apart an Oreo cookie and scraping out the cream filling. Then, you fill the empty cookie with similar colored substance, like toothpaste or whipped cream, and reassemble the cookie. Now the prankster can offer the fake Oreo to their victim of choice and wait for their reaction!
Water Nozzle Prank
This is a sneaky trick where you wrap a rubber band around a sink hose nozzle handle, directing it towards the front of the sink. When someone turns on the faucet, water will suddenly spray out of the nozzle, startling and soaking the person with water.
Nail Polish Plug Prank
The nail polish on a plug prank involves applying clear nail polish to the prongs of an electrical plug. When someone tries to unplug the device, the nail polish makes the prongs a slippery mess and unable to use. This can be easily reversed with some nail polish remover.
Toilet Brush Prank
This prank is one that will certainly disgust your victim. In this trick, the prankster buys a new and unused toilet brush. Then they place it in the dishwasher, usually among the regular dishes and utensils, turning it on. When the cycle is complete and someone opens the dishwasher, they’re surprised (and often disgusted) to find the toilet brush mixed in with the clean dishes.
Air Freshener Prank
This last one is for those who have air fresheners in their car. The prankster will remove the freshener and spray it generously with any type of fart spray. After letting it dry for a while, it will be completely unnoticeable, except for the smell of course. Then place it back in the car, leaving your victim to deal with the horrible smell.
