The tennis season is slowly coming to a close. The coed team is comprised of a mixture of newbies and students who have been playing since birth. However, all the players have learned a thing or two from one another and through doing so have developed great friendships.

The tennis instructor Coach Karas, who has been coaching for five years here at Santaluces, and for about ten years total, believes our record of 1-4 (Girls) and 2-3 (Boys) is suitable for a team full of new players.

“The season’s great,” said Coach Karas. “The team is young, everyone seems eager and they’re learning fast. So far it looks good. I’m proud of the team.”

So, come out and support our tennis team! The team has matches scheduled as follows: Away vs. Boynton Beach on Tuesday, March 4; Away vs. John I. Leonard on Thursday, March 6; and Away vs. Lake Worth on Tuesday, March 25.
