The Santaluces Chiefs were back in the playoffs for the first time in a few seasons, playing Park Vista at a neutral location, John I. Leonard. After an exciting night, the Chiefs forced overtime, but the Cobras came out on top 78 to 77.

The Chiefs came out with a hot start, but it seemed that Park Vista always one-upped the Chiefs in the 1st half. The 2nd half was different, the Chiefs showed resilience and came back to tie the Cobras late in the 4th.

The game went to an intense overtime, back and forth the two teams went but Park Vista pulled off a 1 point win at the buzzer.

“We had some highs, we had some lows,” said Coach T.  “At the end of day, there is nothing to be ashamed of. We left it all on the floor, you win some and you lose some and we just happened to lose this one.”

Overall, this season-ending loss was a heartbreaker. But in the end, the Chiefs will rebound and will rebuild next year.
