The Wrestling Chiefs spent this Saturday at Royal Palm Beach for a winter invitational. The Chiefs wrestled against multiple schools to try to bring medals back to Santaluces. As they wrestled, many qualified to move on to wrestle for a top 4 finish in the tournament.  Each wrestled multiple times and wrestled multiple opponents in their respective weight classes. Out of the entire team, 7 Chiefs were finalists in their weight classes.

Skye Espinosa finished with a 3rd place medal to wrap up his day. Multiple Chiefs won 2nd place medals for their dominant wrestling performances, the winners were: Justyn Matejka, Michael Medio, Joel Govia, and Kareem Thomas. Two Chiefs came in 1st place for their respective weight classes, Alexander Blitzer and Nick Whittington.

Overall, the Chiefs wrestling team looked spectacular in this invitational, and are hoping this makes a statement to the county that they are formidable opponents.
