Mr. Carruther’s Marine Biology class took a scalpel to a squid Friday. Students were learning about the Molluska family and squids fall under the Cephalopod (which means head foot) class.

“We dissected it to expose all the major parts, drawing and labeling on our lab sheets,” said junior Ross Eddins. “We named her Shnookums.”

For Ross, it was love at first snip, he said.
