If you want to extend your knowledge about art, if you’re looking to further your skills, or if you’re just simply interested in art, then National Art Honor Society (NAHS) is the club for you! The club participates in events including, but not limited to:  the Lake Worth Street Painting Festival, Relay For Life, Picasso’s Paint-Your-Own-Pottery, and the Color Run. At club meetings, you will learn about the history of art and build experience with different art mediums. Some of the projects you’ll complete are pop art, linoleum block carving (stamp making), drawing exercises, tie-dye t-shirts, mask painting, and more!

To be apart of NAHS, you should have at least a 3.0 GPA,  have taken or are currently in at least 1 visual arts class (photo tech, digital design, visual tech, or draw/paint), and a passion for art. The first meeting will be held Tuesday, August 30th from 2:50-3:30 in Mr. Badome’s room in the back of the 4000 building. Don’t worry if you can’t make it to the first meeting, you still have time to join. Hope to see you there!
