Heyli Brown
Although last year was fairly difficult, bringing many challenges and hardships with it, it gave me many things to be thankful for this year. I’d like to thank all of our frontline workers who risked their health and continued to show up to work each day, be that at our local grocery stores and restaurants or our major hospitals and clinics, in order to ensure the public’s essential needs were met. I’m grateful for my health, something I know was a major concern during the pandemic for many, especially those with compromised immune systems.
I’m also thankful for my friends who kept me laughing and smiling despite the distance between us during quarantine and remote learning. I’m especially thankful for my family and my pets for keeping me company in the house 24/7 these past couple of months, but also for supporting and motivating me every day.
Happy Thanksgiving everyone!
