COS: Michael Etchells

“This past year, me and my family went and volunteered at a soup kitchen on Christmas. We handed out food to the hungry for free and made sure every one had a meal for Christmas. Homeless people and struggling families can find shelter and warm meals at a soup kitchen, so I was very proud of myself and my family because we were giving back to the people who need the help the most. Me and my family also brought a bunch of gifts that we also handed out while we were there volunteering. I liked making sure everyone there had a great Christmas and I hope me and my family will continue to go back to the soup kitchen because it feels great to actually make a difference in our community.”
