This year, film and television has competed arm and arm over who is cinematically superior. Ten years ago, film would win this fight but dramas that are beautifully shot are flooding small screen entertainment. This year, there are sure to be tears over which production will win and of course hearing the infamous line: “it was an honor to be nominated” for weeks.
