For my last spring break I am focusing on three things.

I recently got a new job and so far I am really enjoying it, it’s at Boost Mobile and it is honestly the easiest job ever. I also became a certified lash tech at only seventeen, so I plan on growing my business and clientele. Last but not least, I hope to spend time with my family, especially my two nephews.

The job at Boost Mobile is basically selling as much as you can, and never letting a customer leave without buying something. This is easy since no one really comes window shopping to Boost Mobile. During the week of spring break I decided to rack up on hours, so this is one of the things I’ll be doing most during the break.

On march 10th, I became a certified lash tech. I learned so many new tricks and tips. I learned about sanitation, the importance of consent forms, the different eye shapes that go with different designs and much more. Becoming a certified lash tech at seventeen has been one of my biggest accomplishments. Other than Boost Mobile, I will be dedicating part of my break to expanding my clientele and growing my instagram page (@kyrielashes). Makeup, eyebrows and eyelashes are the best side job ever, at least for me.

Lastly, I hope to spend some much needed time with my family, since I barely do due to my busy agenda. I rarely see them and it is the absolute worst, the few times I see my baby nephew I cherish and play with him as much as I can! I also plan on taking my mom out for breakfast or dinner, maybe taking my nephews out for a movie and date night with my boyfriend.

Some fun things YOU can do during spring break

  • Visit Sandoway Discovery House and feed sharks and feed and touch stingrays all for $5
  • Go to Bayside in Miami with a group of friends
  • Go fishing at the Lake Worth Pier
  • Visit Zero Degrees (new food spot located on Forest Hill and Jog Rd)

All in all, I really hope I enjoy and get some rest during my LAST spring break, because when seniors get back … it is going to be beyond hectic!
