Marcela Alfaya

I’m thankful for my parent’s jobs. I realize how lucky I am to not only have both parents with full-time job and a reasonable schedule but enough money left over to go on vacation more than once a year. If it weren’t for their jobs my life wouldn’t be as comfortable and I’m really fortunate for that.

An example of something I’m thankful for that’s a result of my mom working three jobs and my dad one full-time, is our three week trip to my mom’s home country, Chile. I was able to meet family that I’ve never seen and only ever heard of. That’s only one reason as to why I’m most thankful for my hardworking parents and their jobs.
