This Thanksgiving, I’m grateful to be able to officially call myself a US citizen.

This has been a long, lengthy process, but I’m finally able to have the full rights of an American living in this country. I can now do the things that I was barred from doing, things that I’ve been excited to do.

I thank my family for being able to help me go through this process.
