I’m thankful for my journalism teacher. Throughout high school, I’ve never had such a close connection with any teacher, then all of a sudden I meet this blonde lady who seems to be a little nervous about teaching journalism.

In this world, she became one of my favorite people. She encouraged me to join other clubs and become officers in most of them. She knows when my smiles are actually frowns, and she makes my school days less stressful.

She is selfless and funny. I’m glad I got to meet Mrs. Harms in this lifetime and hope to meet her in my next. She is someone I will never forget because of the impact she had on me and other students.
