Kamilah Carnegie

Kamilah Carnegie wanted the AICE Diploma in order to attain the Bright Futures Scholarship to ensure that she will have financial aid for college so that she could focus on her academics. The courses varied for her on the difficulty as she believes it depends on the individual’s academic strengths. For her, literature felt harder than the other subjects but the right resources from teachers and friends helped her succeed.

Her favorite AICE class was AICE Environmental Management with Mrs. Renzette since it was super engaging and felt that she cared about if her students were learning or not. Kamilah’s advice to anyone who wants to strive for the AICE diploma is to plan out the classes you want to take in advance so that you’ll be able to meet the requirements.
