The Chiefs sent four Seniors to the all-star game this past weekend.
Palm Beach County’s annual all-star game took place Saturday, March 5, at John I Leonard High School. The annual event, consisted of two teams (red and black), and thirty-five senior participants. The Chiefs featured four players at the all-star game: Mark Sajous, Sean Dinkins, Job Jean-Baptist and Shaun O’Connor.
On the red team, Sajous and Jean-Baptiste were taking on their high school teammates on the black team, Dinkins and O’Connor.
Sajous was dominant in the red team’s victory.
“It’s hard to play well with a team full of all-stars, but it’s easy to work hard,” said Sajous, a senior. “I wanted to show everyone that I had a reason as to why I was there.”
When asked what it was like to play in the game, Sajous responded with “it was an amazing experience to be on a big stage, full of the best players in the county.”
Sajous dominated against two other Chiefs in the victory and gave insight on what it was like to go against them.
“My mindset did not let me see them as teammates.” said Sajous. “But as defenders who have scouted my talents for a long time.”
