On April 12, 2021, there was a record set of $64,800 that Bitcoin had surpassed. Bitcoin has once again hit an all-time high on Wednesday, October 20, 2021.
Bitcoin is the largest cryptocurrency in the world. The market capitalization is getting closer to $1.3 trillion. It’s approximately three times the value of the Esther Fund value of $479 billion.
“The momentum should help bring other crypto vehicles to market, thus driving sustained gains in bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies,” says Nigel Green, the CEO of the $12 billion advisory DeVere Group.
“The ProShares fund marks the first bitcoin-linked, exchange-traded fund in the United States, making investing in bitcoin accessible to six in ten Americans who own brokerage accounts but may not want to “go through the hassle and learning curve’ of establishing an account with a cryptocurrency provider,” ProShares CEO Michael L. Sapir says.
Year after year, Bitcoin continues to amaze the world by hitting a new record. This has been a stepping stone for the acceptance of other digital currencies that will eventually be on Wall Street.
