“I became interested in photography in middle school, but all I really did was take cheesy photos and post them on Facebook like I was some really important photographer, when really, they all sucked. I took photo with Ms. Ardner my sophomore year and I guess I did well. I liked taking the class and learning all about that stuff, and then I went to AP and I bought myself a real camera and that’s when I think I got better at it and I got really into it. Also, I got really close to Ms. Ardner and she is a great teacher and a wonderful person, and she pushed me in each to do more and try harder and I wouldn’t be where I am without her. I like framing a scene in an aesthetically pleasing form, and I like capturing it and I like the way it turns out and the pride I feel when other people like my photos.”
