“This school year was my first time on the Varsity Flag Football team. I was really surprised when I made the team because I didn’t think I was that good of a player. Not only did I make the team, but I was on starting defense. I played the position of rusher and I was fast. The first game we played was the best because I was determined to play to the best of my ability and I did. We won our first game and I was really excited because I contributed to our win. I did not let the other teams quarter back throw that ball. Whenever they would hike the ball, I would rush her so fast sometimes I’d beat the ball to her and pull her flag before she was able to throw the ball. I loved my position.”
