These are so many songs out there that people can’t admit to liking these days. I find it funny when people deny it and when they come on they jam to them like they listened to them last night. When you listen back to these songs, I think of all the fun memories that I had while listening to them.
- ‘N Sync- “Bye Bye Bye”: My mom loved this group. I grew up listening to this song, and whenever it comes on, I sing at the top of my lungs, and laugh at my friends’ reactions.
- Usher ft. Lil Jon & Ludacris- “Yeah!“: I used to hear this song while I was with my dad in his tow truck. I was intrigued as to how everything sounded in this song. I thought I was the coolest person ever for listening to this song.
- Justin Timberlake- “Cry Me A River“: I didn’t know about this song at first, but I heard a girl group called Little Mix sing an acapella of this song, and now I use lyrics from it all the time for things I say to people when I’m messing with them.
- Kelly Clarkson- “Since You’ve Been Gone“: I always loved the beat of this song. Now, I love it more than I did when it first came out. I have a newfound appreciation for it.
- Jesse McCartney- “Beautiful Soul“: I don’t think I knew one girl that didn’t at least listen to this song once. This song was a hit when it first came out. Whenever it comes on I jam to it.
- Jonas Brothers- “Hello Beautiful“: One of my favorites from their debut album. Hearing it live was a great moment for me. I will always love the Jonas Brothers.
- Demi Lovato- “Get Back“: This song was my jam, I thought I was the coolest person for listening to a girl with a rocker attitude. Still to this day, it is my favorite Demi song.
- Miley Cyrus- “Party in the USA“: Man, this song was and is still so good. It’s probably really funny to be around me when it comes on. I’ll sing and attempt to dance.
- Rascal Flatts- “Me & My Gang“: Country music has always been a big part of my life, and always will be. Rascal Flatts is probably one of my favorite bands. This song made me want to listen to them even more.
- Brad Paisley- “I’m Gonna Miss Her“: This song is so humorous and every time I hear this song I laugh and jam. My friends love it when I do this around them.
- Carrie Underwood- “Before He Cheats“: One of my favorite Underwood songs, this one was a kick in the face, this song wasn’t something people expected from Underwood when she released her debut song from American Idol called ‘Jesus Take the Wheel.’ It shows that she has a different side, and I love this song so much.
- Taylor Swift- “Tim McGraw“: The first single she released, and by far one of my favorites. This has led her to where she is now, and I love that.
- Spice Girls- “Wannabe“: This girl group opened the doors in the music business for other girls, and this song is one that will live on for decades to come.
- Jason Derulo- “Whatcha Say“: This song was all over the place when it first came out. Major hit, but it became overplayed so when I hear it now I jam. It’s a great song, just sometimes you can only take so much of it.
- Pink- “So What“: This was a favorite for me, I would dance around my room singing at the top of my lungs to this song. I love how it’s such a raw song but with an awesome beat and is so catchy.
Keep in mind, these are mostly the songs I listened to. There are so many more hit throwback songs out there. But, always jam as hard as possible to these songs, because they are all so great songs.
