Every fall, Park Vista hosts the Cobra Varsity Baseball League (CVBL), a practice season where schools all over Palm Beach County come together to hone their skills for the spring season. With the games starting in October and ending in November, fall ball gives coaches and players a preview of what the spring season may look like. It’s basically high school baseball’s spring training.
Coach Dahl believes that wins and losses are not important during the fall season, “It’s the practice you get everyday and working on what will make you better for the spring. Combining JV and varsity teams, all players get the chance to work together and practice their plays. “This fall season may not have been our best, but players learned valuable lessons and are ready for the spring season in February.”
