It’s that time again where all the basketball players come out of hibernation and return to the basketball courts and the gym. Chiefs Varsity Basketball starts up next week with a pre-season Kickoff Tournament in Lauderdale Lakes.

Hi, My name's Stanley Alexis. I'm a senior here at Santaluces and this is my first year doing newspaper. After I graduate, I want to either be a pediatrician or a personal accountant. The one thing to know about me is that I'm a sports fanatic. I love all sports but golf and nascar because i don't consider those two as sports, whatsoever. The only activities i really ever do are play sports like soccer and travel. Yes, I'm a boring person, I know.
