The graduating class of 2016 had their graduation at the South Florida Fairgrounds on Monday morning at 8 AM. The valedictorian of the graduating class was Afsana Chowdhury, while the salutatorian was Mirian Sanchez-Padilla.

Hi my name is Brandon. This is my first year in newspaper and I am a senior here at Santaluces. I've been on the swim team for the past two years now, but my main interest is photography. I first got into photography in my freshman year and it has clicked with me ever since. Without a doubt, the thing I enjoy most about the hobby is being able to capture candid and genuine emotions. I plan on majoring in photojournalism in college in the hopes of landing a job as a photographer for National Geographic. I'm looking forward to documenting the events at our school and being able to share these memories with you!

My grandson, Devon Poulette graduated with this class and I would like to purchase a picture of him receiving his diploma.
I called the school administration office who told me that all students were given special tickets for this purpose however, my grandson and three of his friends didn’t receive this item.
