Attention to all photographers and writers: The Tribe is now open to photo and story submissions for the chance to be featured on our newspaper!
How to submit:
Content will be submitted via the Tribe’s email: [email protected]. Students must include their full name and grade level in the subject bar. Any questions about submission can also be directed to this email or commented down below.
Guidelines for photo submission:
Starting Monday, February 13th, a student submitted-photo or drawing will be published weekly. Submissions will be reviewed each Friday and posted the following Monday. For photos, students can also reach the Tribe on Instagram by posting submissions with #Thetribephoto attached.
Photos can range from school time activities to shots from weekend adventures to anything in between. Submissions will be judged on content and creativity, and must be school appropriate. Students must attach a caption to be published on The Tribe.
Guidelines for writing submissions:
Again, creativity is a huge factor. Students can pick from short stories, poems, opinion pieces, news stories and more to submit! Writings should be between 100 and 500 words, and again, must be school appropriate.
Written submissions will be reviewed on the last Friday of each month. The first winner will be picked on February 24th and published the week after. The Tribe staff may edit publishings for clarity if needed.
