Miley Cyrus has had a tremendous career stemming from her Disney days at the young age of 12. Now at 27 years old, she continues to dominate the charts by releasing original music as well as covers of popular songs.
Recently, she covered the hit song “Heart of Glass” by Blondie, leaving everyone amazed at her Rock & Roll spin on the iconic pop song. Her dynamic rendition got amazing feedback from listeners. She even got Debbie Harry, lead singer of Blondie’s, approval on Twitter.
“Once @MileyCyrus covered “Heart of Glass” and it was divine,” says Harry on Twitter.
The social media uproar that followed the release of this song on platforms like TikTok, spoke volumes. It prompted Cyrus to officially release it on all streaming platforms.
Cyrus is no stranger to covers. Earlier this month, she performed “Maneater” by Hall & Oates on The Tonight Show, adding to her 80s song streak.
