Meet Tre, commonly known as T-Rob. As ridiculous as it sounds, this is what people actually call him.
Tre is a Senior here at Santaluces and he is also a Staff Member on The Tribe. This is his fourth year on The Tribe and he says, “I think one of my favorite parts of working on The Tribe is earning badges.” For Tre especially, working on the school newspaper is a plus for him. He wishes to pursue Sports Broadcasting in his future. If you take a look at any of Tre’s articles you can see that they all have some relation to sports.
Speaking of sports, Tre has been playing football since he was a child. You may have recognized him on the field as #24, #10 or more recently, #0. Now that the football season has wrapped up, Tre has some important decisions to make as to where he wants to go to school. Tre could see himself at an HBCU, playing football and most importantly, being happy.
I think people could learn a lot from Tre. For example, his determination on and off the field is admirable. Everyone should take a look at his leadership skills and learn from them. His kindness to even the people that don’t deserve it never goes unnoticed – I learn something new from him everyday.
Tres is not only a great football player, but he also takes pride in his academics. Tre also has a great GPA. Even when school gets heavy he stays on top of his stuff!
Outside of school, Tre likes to hang out with his friends. He calls his adventures “ Side Quests.” Though I don’t agree with all of these “side quests” he always has a funny story that goes with them. The friends that typically partake in his side quests call themselves “Love Van VIP” but that’s a story for next week.
But that’s Tre: a kind, chatty soul.
