Arguably the most iconic silhouette in sneakers, the Jordan 1 has had much history, being the first shoe in the iconic shoe line from Michael Jordan, and has had many fans in a frenzy for them, with prices of the original Jordan 1 skyrocketing in numbers over the years. They even had high-end collaborations that have revolutionized the streetwear community and even the way celebrities dress.
However, many fans have started to hate the iconic silhouette due to Nike over-releasing them with multiple colorways many people didn’t ask for, but with the “royal” colorway being so iconic, I believe it will bring many fans back to get their hands on a pair.
The Jordan 1 “Royals” have now been previewed sporting a new look. This will be another iteration of the royals after previously being seen in suede and leather variants. These Jordans are seen with a “High ’85” cut to give a vintage and original look and will come with a regular box for Nike Jordans 1s. Unfortunately, there is no special and vintage box for those fans wanting one. This will be the first true revival using leather, and many fans are excited.
No set date has been released, as there were only images and videos previewing the shoes online, but this is likely to release in 2025 or 2026.
In my personal opinion, I believe these shoes are a must-cop for me, as the royal colorway is so iconic, and it will pay homage to the original shoes released with the High ’85 cut. The shoes also have nice quality leather, and the nice shade of blue will pop out, making these shoes stand out. Overall, these shoes should be worth the wait and the price that they will be for many collectors and fans. So will you be waiting to get your hands on a pair?
