Today, we had the chance to meet 12th grader Brithany Varela Erazo who is a student here at Santaluces. She is very active in the school community and is a member of Student Government Association (SGA) and Latino’s in Action (LIA). Here are a few questions she was asked:
What is your role in SGA?
“I am a part of IA, we plan bonding activities and celebrate our SGA members birthdays.”
What are you most excited for with it being your senior year?
” I am most excited for graduation and grad-bash because I’m thrilled to interact with other seniors and meet new people.”
What is your favorite memory at Santaluces?
“My favorite memory is meeting new people and becoming close with the people who are now my friends.”
What are your plans after high school?
“After high school, I am going to get my AA degree and then major in business.”
What is one piece of senior advice you would tell others?
“Make sure to maintain your grades and lock in.”
What has been your favorite part of senior year so far?
“I love participating in our senior activities such as the Make Your Crown Day and Senior Sunrise.”
