Senior Meeting: What Happened

The time has come. Graduation is almost here for the class of 2014. A senior meeting was held April 4th and revealed many details for the anticipated students who are ready to graduate.

Seniors’ final day will be May 7th, and it will be the last day seniors can turn in any work or make-up work to their teachers. May 14th will be sign out day for all the seniors to sign out and receive their cap, gown, and tassels.

Graduation rehearsals will be held May 19th at 8:15 a.m.- 10:30 a.m. at the gym. It is enforced that all students must arrive on time to not cause any distractions. If a senior does not arrive at the rehearsals, they will not walk during the graduation.

Graduation day will be May 21st at 12:00 p.m. at the South Florida Fairgrounds Expo Center. Seniors must arrive at 10:30 a.m. Students will have their graduation picture taken by a professional photographer as they receive their diploma.

To receive your diploma, you must have a 2.0 GPA, have a passing score for the reading section of the appropriate state assesment test, and have 20 hours of community service.

URGENT: Mr. Krupa is serious about these events. If any student is found fooling around or not following directions during graduation rehearsals, the distracting student will not be participating during graduation.
