National Honor Society has been collecting donations for the Australian Bushfire Wildlife Fund. You can see who donated by looking at the donation slips covering the front doors of the 8000 building. NHS has raised $184.97.

Hi, my name is Alayna Reddick and I'm a senior at Santaluces. This year I am extremely grateful to be the Editor of The Tribe, as I came to love this newspaper during my junior year. Other than The Tribe, I am also an officer for NHS and a member of SGA. My favorite part of The Tribe is creating Chief Critiques videos alongside Kailyn, but I also really enjoy interviewing students, sports photography, and having fun with what I write.

Hey Chiefs! I’m Hailey Velong, a junior at Santaluces. This is my first year being a part of The Tribe and I plan to bring in photos and videos to depict chief life. I was on the girls Water Polo team my freshman and sophomore years and it was the most exhilarating and memorable experience of high school so far. This is my third year in the Visual Arts academy which I am in to pursue my passions in photography and video making. I am also in love with the ocean and everything it holds, it’s where I spent any and all of my free time.
