Last week, we had shadowlight carts come visit our school to show us what it was like for those forced out of their homes and into the carts away from their homes. Today, we had Eric Lipetz, a Holocaust, survivor talk to us about his family’s long journey surviving the Holocaust.
It was truly insightful being able to hear a Holocaust survivor talk face to face. His family was very fortunate to not be separated and was liberated by the Americans together. Eric Lipetz’s ending statement was, “Don’t take your life for granted.” Life is so valuable, treasure it.
