In an alternate reality in the Marvel universe, Miles Morales swings on New York skylines wearing a black suit with red webbing as Spider-Man. 

Miles was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York. He went to visit his uncle Aaron Davis (who also fights crime as the Prowler) to tell him about winning a lottery to enroll at Brooklyn Visions Academy, a very prestigious school in New York. During his visit, Miles was bitten by a radioactive spider that his uncle stole from a tech lab. 

After going home, he realizes that his senses are greatly enhanced and he can shoot spider silk from his wrists to create webs. Despite still being in high school, he decides to become Spider-Man and fight evil villains and petty criminals in Brooklyn. 

This issue is written by Saladin Ahmed, penciled by Marcelo Ferreira, inked by Wayne Faucher and Marcelo Ferreira, and colored by David Curiel. The cover art is drawn by Javier Garron. 

Miles Morales: Spider-Man #20 details Miles and other allies fighting goblinoids, who are ordinary people turned to goblins by one of Spider-Man’s worst enemies: Green Goblin. 

Spider-Man and Prowler run into a huge group of goblinoids as they try to foil Green Goblin’s plans. 

In a different part of the city, Captain America is driving three of Miles’ friends out of the city to evacuate. He is attacked by goblinoids and tries his best to fight them off when Miles’ dad Jeff, swoops him in to help Captain America. 

Other heroes like Bombshell and Starling also come to the rescue to fend off the Green Goblin.
