Our school was featured on CNN Student News, how cool!
Students have been waiting for it all year. They watch in history class, in General Papers and every day, but the CNN Student News never seemed to include Santaluces in its daily “Roll Call.” That was, until Tuesday.
To the delight of regular CNN News watchers, host Carl Azuz included the Chiefs of Lantana, Florida in the popular segment. From its “Shout Outs” to Azuz’s silly puns, CNN News has become familiar to many students as their own teachers. News of seeing the Chiefs on national television spread across social media last week. The Tribe Instagram account had its highest like-count all year.
