After a long season Districts has finally come. Santaluces track team put up a hard fight competing for placement to move on to regions and here are some of the results:

Santaluces 4×8 team placed second overall with a time of 8:35.91 qualifying them to move onto regionals.

Santaluces 4×4 team also placed second place overall with a time of 3:26.23 qualifying them to move onto regionals as well.

Now, here are some of Santaluces track runners who had qualified for individual races:
Maxwell Beltran took 2nd place with a time of 51.00 in the 400.
Dylan Michel took 4th place with a time of 51.07 in the 400 as well.
Jaden Mompremier took  3rd place in the long jump with a mark of 6.09m.
Devon Lenor took 4th place in the long jump with a mark of 6.03m.
Jaden Mompremier took 1st place in the men’s triple jump with a mark of 13.19m.
Jaden Mompremier took 1st again in the men’s high jump with a mark of 1.82m.
Brandon Inaccus took 2nd place in the men’s shot put with a mark of 12.79m.
Brandon Inaccus took 1st place in the men’s discus with a mark of 40.56m.
Olivia Williams took 1st place in the girls’ 100m sprint with a time of 13.11.
Shelliah Casseus took 4th place, with a time of 19.08, in the girl’s 110 hurdles.
Shelliah Casseus also took 4th place, with a time of 1:20.51, in the girls’ 400 hurdles.
