Hey Lady Chiefs! As you may know, prom for the 2025-26 school year is coming up and the theme is “A Night in Dubai.” In my opinion this, is one of the hardest themes to find something stylish due to the specifics, but it is still doable. If you’re like me and you’re having a hard time figuring out what to pull off, this is the article for you.

A lot of the colors you want to go for in regards to your dress are golds, blacks, silvers, dark greens, dark blues, maybe even a darker pink. You want to look vibrant, like the city of Dubai.

For shoes, it all just depends on your dress. If you have a hard time matching colors, below are some colors that blend really nicely together (one color can be your dress color and the other your shoe color):

• Dark green and brown
• Purple and yellow
• Green and pink
• Teal and gold
• Orange and black

Just about everything matches with black, white, gold, and silver. So if you want to make things easier on yourself, I would go for simple heel colors like those.

Accessories complete the outfit. People from Dubai are big on jewelry so I say go big or go home. I wouldn’t say wear a huge chunky necklace because that can become uncomfortable, but wear something nice and extravagant. You could also wear head pieces such as a lira coin, headband, Arabic tiara, or a veiled headpiece. These will officially complete the look and really bring out Dubai.
