The Santaluces Junior Varsity Flag Football team started their season with a great win! They beat John I. Leonard High School 6-0. It was a tough game, but Santaluces played really well, especially on defense. The defense was super strong and didn’t let John I. Leonard score any points. They made lots of good flag pulls and stopped them from moving forward. Everyone on defense worked together and hustled hard. The offense managed to score the only points of the game. A good pass led to the touchdown. The blockers did a good job protecting the quarterback so she could throw the ball. Even though it was a close score, the offense did what they needed to do. This win is a great way to start the season and shows that the Santaluces Flag Football team has a lot of potential!

I am Miley Zecena. I am a 10th grader. Some hobbies and interests I have are sports like flag football and weight lifting, and I am going to try volleyball this year and see how it goes. For hobbies, I like playing with dogs, watching a show or just spending time with my friends. I also really like watching sports. I find them very interesting, like the school football games, which I always went to last year and would get community hours for. I find it interesting and fun.
