“I am a Santaluces varsity inside linebacker. Ever since I was a kid I’ve always wanted to play football. From time to time I got side tracked by drama and family so I couldn’t take sports too seriously. But last spring, I decided it was time for me to start back up with football. I knew it was going to be challenging but I’m not the type of person to back out of anything because it gets tough. Football has made me realize that there’s no “I” in team and if I want something, I have to get my mind right and fight for it. I didn’t get to see as much play this season as I wanted because my talents peaked a little too late in the season. But beware of the name “Sidney Guillaume” next year, things have only just begun.”

Marie Bobb, Staff Writer
Hey, It's Marie! I am 17 years old and currently a Junior at Santaluces High. I have a strong passion for fashion and writing, so I decided the perfect job for me would be a fashion editor. This is my second year in newspaoer and I absolutely love it. I've been in Florida my whole life but if my plans go right, I will end up in D.C. for college. I plan on going to Howard University because out of all HBCUS, Howard has the highest number of journalism and fashion students. I am also a dancer at Santaluces and I have been since 9th grade. I hope to continue journalism for as long as I can.
