“Growing up, I used to spend winter vacations in Pennsylvania. All the kids would have fun sleigh riding, snow skiing, etc. One winter the lake froze over so my friend and I went for a walk. Well, there was an area that wasn’t as frozen as had thought, and I found myself half way in the freezing water. I managed to get out, and it was a long walk home. Cell phones weren’t invented yet. Everyone had a good time with that experience. Needless to say, I stayed on solid ground after that outing.”

Marie Bobb, Staff Writer
Hey, It's Marie! I am 17 years old and currently a Junior at Santaluces High. I have a strong passion for fashion and writing, so I decided the perfect job for me would be a fashion editor. This is my second year in newspaoer and I absolutely love it. I've been in Florida my whole life but if my plans go right, I will end up in D.C. for college. I plan on going to Howard University because out of all HBCUS, Howard has the highest number of journalism and fashion students. I am also a dancer at Santaluces and I have been since 9th grade. I hope to continue journalism for as long as I can.
