“Volleyball is the mind drilled sport that I have been focusing on since the 7th grade. Many people think volleyball is a girly sport however, if an individual were to be challenged to play, the possibly wouldn’t last 10 minutes. I feel in love with this sport the moment my uncle, Merlin Theleus, began to teach me. I began in a little recreation center near Park Vista High School, playing little competitions with kids my age. I eventually developed the mutual love for this sport and currently play with a travel team that was created by my uncle about 3 years ago. The moment I see volleyball, I automatically want to go play! I would love to continue to play in college, hopefully, if I get recruited but this is a sport I will never let go of.”

Marie Bobb, Staff Writer
Hey, It's Marie! I am 17 years old and currently a Junior at Santaluces High. I have a strong passion for fashion and writing, so I decided the perfect job for me would be a fashion editor. This is my second year in newspaoer and I absolutely love it. I've been in Florida my whole life but if my plans go right, I will end up in D.C. for college. I plan on going to Howard University because out of all HBCUS, Howard has the highest number of journalism and fashion students. I am also a dancer at Santaluces and I have been since 9th grade. I hope to continue journalism for as long as I can.
